*Welsh Harlequin's
*Black Swedish
*Grey Swedish
*Blue Runner
*Ancona
*Mix of breeds above
*Hatching eggs you can put in an incubator
*Live Ducklings
*At the moment, all of our ducklings/hatching eggs will be mixed breeds as we have yet to separate by breed. They produce beautiful mixes!
*We utilize an incubator.
*We also utilize a broody chicken to incubate our eggs. Once they start to pip, we hatch then under a heat lamp in our living room in a brooder made out of a plastic tote & chicken wire.
*Hatching under a broody hen has provided us a higher hatch rate (6 out of 7 every time)
*They also hatched 4 days ahead of schedule
*Ducks might just be the messiest animal we have here on the farm, BUT, in our opinion, they are the most entertaining bird.
*They are super hardy and can withstand colder temperatures.
*They are multi use as you can utilize them for eggs, meat, and their feathers can me used by crafters too!
